Hello Again,
Here's my attempt to get back into the swing of things. I dunno...
We'll see what's what, one way or the other.
A couple of stand-outs: Lightning in a Bottle coming up fast, get
your tickets soon. If you happen to be in Hawaii, the Burning Man
Regional Event "Rebirth" is currently underway on the big island. I'm
sure it does NOT suck!

** SAT. MAY 17: WANDERLAND **
Wanderland May 17th!!!
Welcome to Wanderland
Brought to you by motion+sound and alienunderground
For our third installment, we?re going high up in the mountains, to a
forest clearing, 2 hours from downtown LA, up in the clouds. Nobody's
been able to get into the forest for a very long time, due to the
fire danger, but this year, thanks to the rains and to some old-
school connections with the Forest Service, we are to able to
deliver... Fresh Air! Trees! Green!
Plus, after the jump, you'll find an opportunity to give back to
Mother Earth, to do something good for our local forests, and (best
yet) to get in for free!
The Lineup
Kenneth Graham [control team]
Tom Allain [stimuli]
Todd Spero [plump]
Sparkle [plastic addicts]
Philip Evans [motion+sound]
Dr. Bombay [swoop and plunder]
Orence [alien underground]
Faith [l.a.l.a.]
Myke [red light renegades]
Cupric [audio response team]
Frozen Horse [audio response team]
[earth-shaking sound by alienunderground]
[boogie down projections by motion+sound]
The Location
Seriously, this is an amazing place that hasn't been touched for
years. This is not the desert. This is in the mountains about 90
minutes East of Los Angeles. We'll have the site locked down all
night, and into the next day. We encourage you to arrive early, and
we especially encourage you to stay late. The music will officially
end at noon, but it will probably go until dusk, as long as the
energy remains.
Volunteer!
And here's the really cool part of this whole thing. As part of our
agreement with the Forest Service, we will volunteer our time to help
with cleanup, planting, and whatever else they need help with the day
before the party. Saturday May 17th is Volunteer Day at the Forest
Service, and we have promised them volunteers. All the organizers
will be there, the sound people, most of the DJs, and... You!

What is Rhythms in Peace Project?
Rhythms in Peace is a landmark sound healing CD and DVD project that
brings together Grammy winning artists and other world class artists
with tribal musicians from around the world. We are currently
raising money for the first phase of this project where we will go to
Morocco to record with a rare women’s healing- celebratory drum/vocal
group called the Houyarites, and various Gnawa music groups (Gnawa is
a type of music that is “healing trance” music).
Proceeds from this project will go to aid sacred women’s music groups
in developing countries ( Morocco and Egypt). As well, Rhythms in
Peace hopes to assist the women’s group from Morocco, the Houyarties,
in spreading their healing ritual celebratory music by helping them
tour in western countries as well as organizing healing yoga and
drumming retreats with them in Morocco. The CD is also being composed/
strutured to flow with yoga classes.
You can learn more about this sacred music project at http://

price. There will be plenty of space in the grass and under the trees
for setting up your campsite. There is no camping for day passes.

a day to day basis or save some dough with a weekend package! So, be
at ease that your valuables are stored safely and get ready for more

sound systems at home.
•Dogs and other pets are NOT allowed. If you show up with a dog, you
will not be admitted into the event. Elephants and giraffes are ok.

•Since there are no lifeguards on duty and there is also a no-
drowning rule at LIB, absolutely NO ONE is allowed in the river!
Individuals caught in the river may be fined by the rangers on site
