The tent has been erected and we'll be ready

THE ORCHESTRA SECTION FOR THE SATURDAY SHOW IS SOLD OUT!!!!!

We're working hard in the park.  The Tent is up and the lighting is  
in place and the show will be ready. This show has been a FULL year  
in the making.  We wrote a completely original score.  We built a new  
set.  We created brand new aerial apparatus. We choreographed brand  
new ensemble dance pieces. We brought in one of the top lighting  
designers in the business, we pushed ourselves farther than we ever  
thought possible...

TO BRING THIS BRAND NEW EXTRAVAGANZA TO DOWNTOWN LA.

The show, complete with the troupe’s own big top circus tent, runs  
for four nights from July 24th through Sunday, July 27th with nightly  
performances beginning at 8:30 p.m.  Come early to enjoy picnicking  
“Hollywood Bowl” style before the show starting at 6:00 p.m.

Sagrada crew.

This is a substantial undertaking, and unfortunately most of the funds
needed to build the temple must be raised by the artist and their
supporters, so let's show up and really show them how LA rolls. Let's
celebrate the most sacred part of the Playa.

Why I like Spundae and why you should too:

- The door guys are really nice (and super hot)
- The list girl is uh....my straight girlfriend (and I'm her lesbian  
boyfriend.)
- The venue is not full of Hollywood douchbags but instead filled  
with people who absolutely love the world's top electronica talent  
and dance their asses off week after week.
- The venue consistently pulls in my favorite DJs
- The sound system is INCREDIBLE
- The drinks are reasonable
- When it's raining outside they canceled the terrace acts and hauled  
a full sound system INTO THE LOBBY so we could still play and party  
with our friends in the middle of winter.
- Cody Lee spins there
- The venue is amazing
- I am spinning there Aug 2 and you should come
- hot chicks, hot chicks, hot chicks
- hot guys, hot guys, hot guys

On August 2nd I return to Spundae to spin with Gil La and Cody Lee,  
and I'm so stoked about it. This is my favorite night in Hollywood  
and consistently goes big. Behrouz is headlining that night and I'm  
on the Terrace from 2:30 to 4 (Cody Lee plays right before me!)

If you loved the old nights at Circus Disco when we'd play together,  
you'll LOVE August 2nd.

Kostume Kult needs costumes for Costume Gifting Dome

Glorious friends... Kostume Kult enters its 7th year of 'costuming  
the naked' in need.  The annual lightning has yet to strike and no  
major costume haul has yet been had. We have never gone so long  
without a sufficient costume trove acquisition--- Alas, the playa has  
yet to provide.

Shouting out to all you lovelies to consider sending us your unused  
costume clutter or asking your friendly local costume shop, theater  
group or hipster thrift store if they'd like to support the cause.

As many of you know, Kostume Kult freely gives hundreds of pounds of  
donated costumes and colorful fashion items to all comers, every day  
from our esplanade Kostume Dome.  No returns necessary, no barter, no  
favors requested--- just gifting... Based in NYC, we throw numerous  
fundraisers and collect stuff all year in pursuit of this glorious  
and ridiculous mission and would dearly appreciate your help.
