I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Drew Pinsky of "Love Line", "Celeb  
Rehab", & "Sex Rehab" fame. He made an appearance at the USC class I  
teach on Mondays and gave an impressively detailed discussion of the  
neurobiology and genetics of addiction. An inspiration for me indeed!

I'm excited to announce that The Owls will premiere at the Berlin  
Film Festival. I composed the soundtrack for this full length feature  
film, with generous amounts of strings plus other instruments,  
including horns, real drums, drum machines, vintage synths, bass and

My year started on tour with David J (Bauhaus / Love & Rockets).  
Think antique gothic, with a sense of playfulness, and you'll be in  
the right mindset. I got to play strings with mandolin, ukulele,  
banjo, piano, a stand-up bass and drums, playing new songs and old.

This month I've recorded strings for HBO's Big Love, arranged strings  
for commercials, co-written music for movie promos, played live  
shows, and composed a score for another feature film.
