** MONTHLY BURNING MAN FILM SERIES DATES IN L.A. **
Mark your calendars as we continue our Burning Man Film Series at
Mission:Control (near the 405 and Jefferson).
Per your request, we will be changing the date to the 2nd Sunday of
each month.
Please email Athena at LABurningMan.com for the address if you dont
already have it.
Since it is a Sunday we are starting a little earlier. We will open
our doors at 6:30pm and start the film at 7:00pm. We will encourage
people to bring their dinner, and blankets to sit on or pillows. Its
like a picnic in the cemetery but with no dead bodies and no grass.
So you can sit, eat dinner, and watch a BM film. Then relax under the
awesome decor that is Mission:Control and have a great social
gathering after the film till 11pm. Its the LIVE social networking
site. (this is a leave no trace event)
EVERY MONTH: We will be having a clothing swap right after the film.
I know you are all spring cleaning, so bag up your old clothes and
bring them with you to the screening. All sizes welcome. Shoes and
accessories too. Hell, bring it all. Your trash is an others treasure.
And please mark your calendars for the next dates in the LA BM Film
Series. Its a great and relaxing way to visit with your fellow
burners, meet new people, and make new friends.

Lightning in a Bottle is back! Get ready for the next adventure!
It has been almost 2 years since our last LIB together and not a day has
gone by where we haven't dreamt about the next adventure. We're bursting
with tons of new ideas and can barely contain our excitement. It's
finally right around the corner!
Together with all of our friends we will converge on a beautiful new
location and transform it into a wonderland for the senses, once again
capturing Lightning in a Bottle. Prepare to start the summer off
right!!!
4 days and 3 nights of activities and entertainment including music,
performances, inspiring art, yoga and meditation classes, sustainability
workshops, clothing and craft vending, tasty organic foods, camping and
much more!

musical acts and live performances, art installations and live art

The LIB team prides itself on filling three performance stages with a
wide variety of live and electronic musical acts and vaudevillian
performances, as well as deploying unique intersections of artistic form
and sustainable function to create stages that double as large-scale art
installations. Experience has taught us that top-level artistic and
musical experiences are best enhanced by still more art!
